Job duties:
Musaffa’s Spring-Summer Intern Program gives young professionals access to enriching opportunities to start and accelerate their careers. Our program is uniquely hands-on, allowing Interns to work alongside our Chief Legal Officer, who is licenced New York Attorney on exciting new projects and strategies. In addition to day-to-day projects, Interns will have access to our global workforce and work with people with diverse backgrounds and rich experience. Our goal is to leave all our program graduates with a full, 360 understanding of our business.
As Law Student Intern, you will support our legal projects in Uzbekistan and assist Chief Legal Officer in interesting projects. Reporting to the Chief Legal Officer, you will gain experience in various practice areas, such as corporate law, commercial contracts, employment law, securities, intellectual property, investments, data privacy and legal operations.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Analyzing data and conducting legal research.
Assist Chief Legal Officer with drafting various legal documents, reports, and correspondence.
Create, organize, and maintain up to date departmental files of all correspondence, as well as other filing.
Classify data so the company has an accurate, accessible and complete record of its contractual commitments.
Assist in the drafting of various documents, such as non-disclosure agreements and proposal letters.
Contribute to optimizing the team’s efficiency, namely by procuring supplies.
Absorb business methodologies, ask questions, and learn.
Participate in team meetings, provide administrative and ongoing project support.
Maintain a variety of electronic databases and organize files for off-site storage.
Maintain regulatory documentation, filing systems, spreadsheets, databases, etc.
Participate in special projects and initiatives and take on other duties as assigned.
Skills:
Demonstrated interest in commercial law or corporate law, and extensive experience with legal research.
Legal Analytical mindset with demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
You have excellent communication and presentation skills, enabling you to effectively collaborate across all levels both within and outside of Musaffa.
You demonstrate outstanding organizational capabilities and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
As a self-starter, you have a willingness to learn in a dynamic environment and are eager to grow your exposure to new technology and processes, taking any opportunity to acquire new skills.
You have strong computer skills, including an excellent command of Microsoft Office Suite, such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
