Engineer - Qvantel Flex BSS Administration and Configuration

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the administration and configuration of the Qvantel Flex Business Support System (BSS). This role is crucial for enabling digital transformation and ensuring a flexible, customer-centric approach to managing telecom services.

Job duties:

Key Responsibilities:

1. System Administration and Configuration:

   - Administer and configure Qvantel Flex BSS, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

   - Manage the configuration of various modules, including billing, customer relationship management (CRM), order management, and others, to meet business requirements.

   - Ensure seamless integration with existing systems and third-party applications through API-driven approaches.

 

2. Cloud Management:

   - Oversee the deployment and scaling of Qvantel Flex BSS on cloud infrastructure.

   - Ensure cost-efficiency and scalability by leveraging cloud-native features.

   - Monitor cloud resources and optimize for performance and cost.

 

3. Customer Experience Enhancement:

   - Implement personalized interactions and self-service options to enhance the digital customer experience.

   - Maintain a unified view of customer data and support omnichannel engagement.

 

4. Process Automation and Efficiency:

   - Implement and manage advanced automation capabilities to streamline processes such as billing, order fulfillment, and customer support.

   - Reduce operational costs and minimize errors through effective automation.

 

5. Real-Time Insights and Analytics:

   - Utilize analytics and reporting tools to provide real-time insights into business performance, customer behavior, and network usage.

   - Support data-driven decision-making and operational optimization.

 

6. Support and Collaboration:

   - Provide technical support to internal teams and external partners.

   - Collaborate with Qvantel and other vendors to resolve complex issues and implement new solutions.

 

7. Compliance and Security:

   - Ensure the system complies with industry regulations and standards.

   - Implement and maintain security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure regulatory adherence.

 

8. Innovation and Improvement:

   - Identify opportunities for system improvements and innovations.

   - Support the rapid development and deployment of new services and products tailored to customer needs.

Skills:

 Preferred Skills:

- Familiarity with telecom industry standards and protocols.

- Experience with API integration and management.

- Knowledge of customer experience management and CRM systems.

- Certification in relevant cloud technologies or business support systems.

 

Qualifications:

- Understanding of cloud-native architectures and cloud management.

- Proficiency in system monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance.

- Experience with scripting and automation tools to streamline processes.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
