General Director Assistant

Description

Our company is currently constructing a chemical manufacturing plant in the Akhangaran region of Uzbekistan. The construction is scheduled to be completed by the end of next year. It would be preferable if the candidate speaks Turkish, as the contractors for the plant are a Turkish company. In addition to the plant under construction, our company already operates three other plants.

Job duties:

 

1. 

Executive & Administrative Support

 

 

  • Manage the General Director’s calendar, meetings, and business trips.
  • Prepare presentations, reports, and meeting agendas.
  • Draft, review, and translate business correspondence, contracts, and official letters.
  • Keep records of agreements, contracts, and company documentation.
  • Handle confidential information securely.

 

 

 

 

 

2. 

Operational Coordination

 

 

  • Act as a liaison between the General Director and department heads (production, logistics, finance, R&D, sales).
  • Follow up on the execution of the Director’s instructions across departments.
  • Support procurement and supply chain processes (tracking shipments, preparing customs documents, HS codes).
  • Help coordinate production schedules, quality reports, and safety compliance updates.

 

 

 

 

 

3. 

Industry-Specific Duties

 

 

  • Review and organize technical and commercial documentation (e.g., MSDS, chemical specifications, tenders).
  • Monitor compliance with environmental, safety, and regulatory standards.
  • Assist with tender submissions, commercial proposals, and quotations for customers.
  • Maintain contacts with suppliers, clients, and regulatory authorities.

 

 

 

 

 

4. 

Communication & Representation

 

 

  • Translate and interpret during meetings with foreign partners (if multilingual).
  • Represent the General Director at internal/external meetings when required.
  • Draft minutes of meetings and ensure follow-up actions are tracked.
  • Support negotiations by preparing background notes and summaries.

 

 

 

 

 

5. 

Analytical & Reporting Duties

 

 

  • Collect and analyze data from departments (production, finance, sales).
  • Prepare weekly/monthly reports for the General Director.
  • Monitor market trends (e.g., raw material costs, competitor activity).
  • Assist with budgeting, cost control, and project tracking.

 

 

 

 

 

6. 

Special Tasks

 

 

  • Handle urgent assignments from the General Director.
  • Coordinate company participation in exhibitions, conferences, and trade shows.
  • Support investment projects (e.g., building a new plant, modernizing equipment).
